The Sixth National Conference on Science and Technology has started from day in the capital.
The conference will continue till September 27,said Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST).
Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai inaugurated the conference this morning at Everest Hotel in Nayabaneshwor.
Scientists from India, China, Korea, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Japan are also presenting their research papers on the various topics ranging from Chemistry, Geography to Engineering during the conference.
1000 scientists from different parts of the world are participating in the conference,said NAST.
"542 research papers will be presented."
